a practicum in Human-Horse Co-Facilitation
May 1-3, Ojai California
Guided and led by Tisse, Catie Macken, and Güliz Ünlü of Equuarius.
A three-day training for people who already work with horses—and are ready to deepen their skill, confidence, and integrity as facilitators. This is a training ground for those bringing horses into their professional work.
WHAT THIS PRACTICUM IS
This practicum is designed for practitioners who:
Already have a craft, modality, or body of work
Have their own horses or regular access to horses
Feel the call to work with horses, not just around them
Want real feedback, real tools, and real growth—not theory alone
Over three days, you will practice, refine, and clarify how your horse medicine moves through you—and how it is received by others.
This is a place to:

It is for people committed to integrity, relationship, and ongoing learning.

ABOUT THE LOCATION
Ojai is a powerful and grounded landscape for this work—accessible, spacious, and well-suited for deep learning with horses. Rancho Roma is located in Meiners Oaks River Bottom, details will be shared once attendance is confirmed.
Participants are responsible for their own lodging and travel. Local recommendations will be provided upon acceptance.
Closest Airports Los Angeles, 1.5-2hrs; Santa Barbara, 1hr; Burbank 1.5hrs.

Horse Constellation Group

Coupling constellation work with the wisdom of horses enables us to inquire and research what is creating any entanglements, blocks or interferences to the flow of love in the system. Through acknowledging these patterns, we can then clear the interference and open to the flow of love and life force within ourselves within, families, organizations, and the greater collective system of humanity at large.

Writing with Horses: An Imbolc Experience
This two-hour workshop merges the creative power of writing with the transformative presence of horses.
Through guided equine activities and writing prompts, participants will explore how the energy field and mythology of horses can inspire and deepen their writing practice, and foster a connection to the unconscious.
The workshop will focus on developing self awareness, emotional expression, and creative flow, using the horse-human connection as a catalyst for personal insight and artistic reclamation.
Harnessing the power of Imbolc (The midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox) we will use guided and free writing rituals to navigate the changing season.

This training is designed for facilitators, guides, practitioners, teachers etc who can benefit from integrating Constellation Work in Nature into their personal and professional practice. There will be special emphasis on Horse Constellations. However, we will learn constellation set-ups that can be done with or without horses.
Everyone will have the opportunity to receive their own constellations as well as get experience facilitating for others. This immersion into the field as a small group will be deeply therapeutic and transformational. Additionally, you will emerge from the experience ready to take this work out into your communities.
The best way to learn this work, is to practice it! By experiencing the energy of the field (and the herd) as a querent, representative, and facilitator, you will deepen your embodied relationship to the process. During the five days, we will explore the philosophy behind facilitating this work, but more importantly, we will have the opportunity to practice.

Writing with Horses: a Solstice Experience
This workshop combines the therapeutic and transformative power of horses with creative writing exercises.
Participants will explore how the presence and movement of horses can inspire and deepen their writing, while also engaging in activities designed to foster self-awareness, connection, and mindfulness.
Through equine-facilitated learning (EFL) activities, participants will experience firsthand how non-verbal communication with horses can enhance their writing process, develop their voice, and unlock new creative potential.

Embodied Presence with Horses with Equuarius
Join us as we host Guliz of EQUUARIUS for a day-long immersion at Old Canyon Stables.
Come learn the fundamentals of the practice of Absolute presence. Upgrading our realities with the help of horses.
Call back pieces of you that that have been fragmented through trauma, dissapointments, heartbreak and greif. In this one day workshop, we will explore what if feels like to be whole again.
Along our journey on this Earth walk, we experience soul loss after soul loss and eventually, those peices become scattered and as much as we try to be fully present and fully whole, we are unable to be in our wholeness and to live in our full entire potential.
We will work with our subconcious mind to bring what needs to be called back for us to enjoy our lives from a more whole embodiment. Where we stop projecting and manifesting from an old version of oureselvs often repeating the same patterns and wondering why we can't change.
We can't be in absolute presence to expereince a new way when fragments of our Soul are lost.
With the help of horses and nature, we integrate the deep subconcious shifts for us to begin to project the extraordianry life that awaits us.
We are Nature. Just like horses, rivers, wind, fire and the elements, we are here to shine our light and create change and healing as presence healers.
You will leave with more awareness, more presence and a deeper knowing and loving of Self. You will be more aligned and congruent so that you can walk into a room, into the world, and your own true nature and presence will natrually shift perspective and you can begin to create ripples of change as you move about your life.
