The Shared Path

a practicum in Human-Horse Co-Facilitation

May 1-3, Ojai California

Guided and led by Tisse, Catie Macken, and Güliz Ünlü of Equuarius.

A three-day training for people who already work with horses—and are ready to deepen their skill, confidence, and integrity as facilitators. This is a training ground for those bringing horses into their professional work.

WHAT THIS PRACTICUM IS

This practicum is designed for practitioners who:

  • Already have a craft, modality, or body of work

  • Have their own horses or regular access to horses

  • Feel the call to work with horses, not just around them

  • Want real feedback, real tools, and real growth—not theory alone

Over three days, you will practice, refine, and clarify how your horse medicine moves through you—and how it is received by others.

This is a place to:

  • Strengthen facilitation skills

  • Receive case-based feedback

  • Deepen confidence and authority

  • Refine your offerings and delivery

  • Grow your work in ethical, grounded ways

You will be met exactly where you are—and invited to step forward from there.

YOU WILL LEAVE FEELING

  • More confident in your skills and presence

  • Anchored in your unique horse medicine

  • Clear about how horses co-facilitate your work

  • Supported by a community of practitioners walking a similar path

  • Resourced, affirmed, and energized to continue

THIS PRACTICUM OFFERS YOU

  • Guidance tailored to your stage of practice

  • Practical tools you can immediately bring into sessions

  • Insight into where your work is growing next—and how to meet it

  • A practitioner community that understands the responsibility of this work

  • Direct transmission from three master teachers in collaboration

This is about closing the gap between:

  • Where you are now

  • Where you sense your work wants to go

WHO THIS IS FOR

This practicum is for:

  • Space holders, guides, and practitioners

  • Entry-level to early-established horse medicine facilitators

  • Therapists, coaches, educators, bodyworkers, and ceremonial guides

  • People already doing the work and ready to deepen mastery

This is not for people looking to be certified, fixed, or told who to be.
It is for people committed to integrity, relationship, and ongoing learning.

WHAT WE WILL WORK WITH

Sessions may include:

  • Case studies from your real-world practice

  • Facilitation labs with horses as co-guides

  • Clarifying your session structure and delivery

  • Working with intention, containment, and nervous systems

  • Ethical considerations and responsibility in horse-human work

  • Business and vision constellations

There is space for reflection, integration, and relational depth—without losing the rigor of practice.

A NOTE FROM US

Equine co-facilitation is a field that is actively forming.
The way we practice now matters.

This practicum is an invitation to come together—
to strengthen the bridge between horses and humans,
to support one another as practitioners,
and to intentionally shape the culture of this work.
